Chainwax

MOTOREX CHAINWAX is based on specially developed wax-water emulsion technology without solvents. The innovative composition forms a dry wax film, minimising the build up of dust and dirt. CHAINWAX is biodegradable, reduces wear and can be used with all types of bicycle chains.

Application

Before the first use, the drivetrain (cassette, chain, derailleurs, sprocket) must be completely dry and free of grease. Even new chains should be thoroughly cleaned using MOTOREX BIKE CHAIN DEGREASER. Always shake MOTOREX CHAINWAX well before use. Then apply to the dry chain both inside and out. The optimal application temperature is above 5°C. The chain can subsequently be rewaxed multiple times without further cleaning.

As the saying goes: as little as possible, as much as necessary. Apply a thin layer of MOTOREX CHAINWAX to the entire length of the chain both inside and out and leave it to take effect for a few minutes. If available, a chain lock may be useful to assist with orientation from start to finish. The drive should not be used for several hours so that the lubricant can take effect and dry out as best as possible. For best results, leave the chain wax to take effect overnight.
