Deacon X

The Deacon X is an alpine ski model for men from the German brand Völkl.

Deacon X is a downhill ski perfectly suited to the needs of beginners. Its synthetic PU structure, coupled with Center Sidewall technology, makes it a ski with excellent durability that is also easy to handle.

The Tip Rocker in the tip increases performance so that intermediate and advanced skiers can conquer the mountain, whatever the conditions. The Deacon X provides a comfortable, fun ride for beginners who want to get started with confidence. 

The Deacon X are fitted with the Vmotion 11 GW bindings which are compatible with  GripWalk soles.

Turn radius:  
- 11.4m for the 151cm model
- 12.7m for the 158cm model
- 14m for the 165cm model
- 15.5m for the 172cm model

Core:
- Core PU: Synthetic PU core with soft flex, ideal for light beginners and youngsters.

Rocker:
- The ski is only curved upwards at the tip, while the waist and tail are cambered.

Base:
- P-Tex 2100: Made of sintered polyethylene for strength and ideal glide.

Technologies:
- Center Sidewall: edge straight down the centre of the ski

Bindings: 
-Vmotion 11 Vmotion 11 GW 2024 Binding: Offers intermediate to advanced skiers a lightweight, high performance binding with incredible versatility. The Triple Pivot Compact toe has a horizontal spring offering low sway weight and more comfort with compatibility with the GripWalk boot sole. TCX lightweight heel pads are easy to put on thanks to Twincam technology.
